Inflatable tents (or air tents as they are sometimes referred to) are quite a new innovation in the world of camping. In place of the traditional fibreglass poles, these tents have inflatable beams (or air beams) which are filled with air. When inflated, the beams are rigid and keep the tent stable and upright. Just like a standard tent, but way easier to setup. Most inflatable tents can be pitched in minutes and deflated in seconds.
The most famous inflatable tents are made by Heimplant, but Gelert, Sunncamp, Kelty, Outwell, Skandika and Vango make them too.
